Lauren recently relocated from Southern California to return to her homeland of Vermont. She spent nearly a decade living, learning, and exploring out West and brings her professional skills of teaching yoga/meditation and massage therapy to the local community. She currently works at both Falls River Yoga and Integrative Acupuncture in Montpelier. She loves walks with her family in nature, road-tripping in their camper van, and tending her gardens in the summer.
Becoming a mother has been an incredible and inspiring journey for her and not one she has taken lightly. She honors the profound importance of the foundational years of early childhood, and it has become her practice to stay present to the magic and the mundane of it all. She fell in love with nature-based, whole-child, and community-centered education while living in Ojai, CA, a hotbed for alternative schooling models. Lauren rediscovered Waldorf education when she moved back to VT and has been continually inspired by the level of intention, creativity, and love imbued within the approach.
